The Philippine Society of Nephrology, Inc., (referred to herein as “PSN”) is an organization of professionals committed to responsible practices concerning collecting, handling, storing, and disseminating online, digital, and electronic information. The PSN remains committed to providing safe and meaningful online spaces for users of the PSN sites as they view, acquire, transmit, or receive information. The PSN exerts reasonable efforts to assure users that such sites conform to minimum data privacy standards.

The PSN does not endorse any third-party entity that may have provided links to any of the PSN sites unless such an endorsement is explicitly stated by the PSN leadership. Thus, PSN will not be responsible for the content of linked third-party sites and under no circumstances should be held liable for such links or third-party sites.

The PSN employs reasonable security measures to avoid unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction of personal information of users. The PSN, however, acknowledges that no website nor online data transmission process can be 100% secure. To partially address this matter, certain PSN sites or domains may require a user ID and password as an additional layer of security to protect your personal information. Neither can we accept liability if payment is refused or declined by the credit card supplier

If the credit/debit card supplier declines payment, the PSN is under no obligation to bring this fact to the member's attention. Members should check with their bank/credit/debit card supplier that payment has been deducted from their account.

Should you have any queries regarding an overpayment on your account and think you may be eligible for a refund, please contact the PSN office.

Limitation of liability

In no event will the PSN and any of its officers or directors be liable for any damages whatsoever, including without limitation direct or indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, losses, or expenses arising in connection with this site or any linked site or use thereof or inability to use by any party, or in connection with any failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus or line or system, whether based on warranty, contract, tort or any other legal theory and whether or not advised of the possibility of such damages.

Applicable laws

This site is administered by PSN from its office in Pasig City, Philippines. These terms will be governed by and construed by Philippine law, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of laws.

Online Privacy Policy

Your right to privacy is very important to us and we recognize that when you choose to provide us with information about yourself, you trust us to act in a responsible manner.

We believe this information should only be used to help us provide you with better service and that's why we have put a policy in place to protect your personal information.

Under no circumstances shall PSN store sensitive card authentication data (i.e. card number, expiry date, validation code, personal identification number) prior to, during, or subsequent to authorization. Whenever you provide sensitive card authentication data, we will ensure all reasonable steps to protect it.

The PSN is not directly involved in the online payment. Payments are sent to the PSN’s Account via Bank, GCash, Maya, etc.”
